Join us for an evening of Trance Dance!
Through breath and rhythm you will take an inner spiritual journey! Trance Dance can be described as a form of Spiritual Meditation using Music, Movement, Breath and Darkness as the tools to stimulate a "trance like" state that promotes spiritual awakenings, mental clarity, physical stamina and emotional well-being. The main focus of the experience is on healing and spiritual evolution. Through Trance Dance we "disappear", becoming more like spirit, and less attached to life's ordinary difficulties, making it possible in these moments to let go of our problems, worries and limitations. The Trance Dance Experience is a doorway into the non-linear world of mystery and expanded time.
The evening begins at 6:30pm for meeting, greeting and orientation. Catherine, a practicing Spirit Medium from Chilliwack, will tell us about herself and explain what Trance Dance is. She will discuss her method of facilitating the Trance Dance and why she chooses to use that method. At about 7pm we will begin the experience of Trance Dance under the guidance of Catherine. When our Inner Journey is over, Catherine will discuss our experiences with us and confirm "what we saw" and "where we went". Please bring a pillow and blanket for relaxing after the Journey. Light refreshments will be served after the formal group experience and before you return to the "outer" world!
NOTE: For anyone with phobias, you will be blind folded during the Trance Dance. The Dance itself is made of your own natural and intuitive movements provoked by the music and you are not required to perform "dancing" in front of others.
